The Branch covers the City of York and the surrounding rural areas of Easingwold, Tadcaster and Pocklington. In addition from 2004 we have taken on responsibility for the former Selby Branch due to a serious lack of volunteers in Selby. We now have a membership of approximately 300. Monthly social meetings are normally held at New Earswick Folk Hall on the 2nd Wednesday of each month (except December) at 7.30pm, unless a special event has previously been publicised. In addition there is the ‘MS Café’ at Haxby Community Centre every Friday from 11am to 3pm where a convivial easy going atmosphere is the norm, with good value home made food and drink on offer. Committee meetings are normally held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Woodlands Resource Centre Meeting Room.

A Branch Newsletter is now produced six times a year. It is sent to all members and to other relevant organisations.
